What was good?
Easy access to the resort and bike parking at the main road. Superior Room sounds a like bit of an exaggeration, but it was a clean and modern room with a proper madrass for the bed. The staff was very kind and polite. Basic fitness room, large enough and zero people. Didn’t try the restaurant or breakfast but it should be good enough. Pretty green gardens. Not the most exiting pool area but it really shines in the evening/sunset. The beach isn’t the most ideal for swimming but perfect for chilling, walking and watching the Phangan sunset. While not as nice as it’s sister resort with the same name (The COAST) in Koh Samui, I think it’s definitely one of the nicer resorts in Haad Rin. There is a bike rental shop just outside. If you don’t mind walking a convenient store and the central Haad Rin area isn’t that far way. Free Yoga Sessions was offered almost everyday if you’re in to that stuff.
What was not so good?
Nothing really bad at all here but as this resort is located in Haad Rin the guests tend to be towards the party crowd. I could see some partying scars in the details. And while it’s an Adults only resort some of the guests behaved like shirtless loudmouth kids. The styling might not suite everyone as it’s kind of a spaceship-tourist-prison style. I think it was the gray color that set that tone.
