Morning stroll at Bangrak Beach, also called Bang Rak Beach or Big Buddha Beach, Koh Samui, Thailand. Walking from Bangrak Pier to the west end of the beach. Very chilled out beach. The eastern part is mostly fishing boats and cloudy water, the middle has smaller piers and more of a resort/villa style, the west end has less resorts is more natural but with more road noise. I liked this beach, would not go here for swimming personally but it was definitely nice for a stroll in the morning. Bangrak Pier / Bangrak Tourism Port has a ferry to Koh Phangan. The Big Buddha statue next to the pier is one of the popular viewpoints in Koh Samui. Stayed at Prana Resort Nandana at this visit to Bangrak and was happy with the accommodation.
