A quick walk at Haad Why Nam, Why Nam Beach, Haad Wai Nam or Wai Nam Beach, Koh Phangan, Thailand. Very small but very pretty beach/bay on the east coast of Phangan island. Why Nam seems ideal for yoga-hippie-party travelers. While definitely relaxing there was some type of old-school beach club venue with bumpy music. A touch of trash at the north end but otherwise the beach was kept clean just like the message on the rock said. My taxi boat stopped at Haad Tien Beach, and just like neighboring Haad Yuan, you can do a short trek to reach Why Nam Beach. There are dirt roads to reach all these three beaches but taxi boat are more convenient when the waves and daylight allow for it.
