Daytime stroll at Sai Kaew Beach, Koh Samet, Thailand. Starting from the north of the beach and walking all the way south to the mermaid-statue. This was during the Chinese New Year so the beach was perhaps somewhat extra-crowded than usual. I planned to go Koh Samet after Chinese New Year to avoid the crowd, but the day I arrived I realized it was actually the first day of the week-long celebration ?. It wasn’t too bad though but the resorts was pretty fully booked. So i’d recommend to book your stay in Koh Samet in advance – especially during weekends and holidays.
