Deluxe Room and walkaround at The Passage Samui, Laem Yai Beach, Koh Samui. Classically styled resort with nice sunsets.

Pros

The resort is located at Laem Yai Beach on the north-west tip of Samui, close to the main ring-road around the island. This side is where you should to stay if want to look at pretty sunsets every night. The gardens where green and beautiful. Two main pools are easily accessible at the centre of the resort. Some rooms/villas have private pools and some has private doors right to the beach as well. I went for the cheapest Deluxe Room. It was pretty small but fine for our short stay, and the room was very clean, well equipped and up to standard. Nice that they had a smart TV. There was also a DVD-player if you enjoy travel with your favorite set of DVD’s 🙂. If I was staying longer I would perhaps go for a bigger room, but if you stay mostly outdoors all day this should be enough. The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from and I did not leave hungry. I enjoyed our stay at this resort and especially the relaxing sunsets. It was nice to visit a different area that I usually just passed by on my previous holidays at Samui. I think families and couples should be happy to stay at this place.

Cons

Not much to complain about here, perhaps Laem Yai Beach is not ideal for swimming, at least at low tide, but great for sunset chilling. The room service meny wasn’t the most exiting but still ok.
