Afternoon stroll at W Beach, Koh Samui, Thailand. The W resort call it their private beach but it’s really Maenam Beach stretching around the point in to Bophut / Bo Phut, so just stroll along, nobody will stop you. However, if your’e walking from Maenam Beach there’s a part with sharp slippery rocks you’ll need to pass if the tide is high. I guess you could ask some of the resorts if you can pass on their property, I didn’t and I almost killed myself on the rocks along the concrete wall. The Maenam side of the beach was calmer and perfect for sunsets. The Bophut side was windy and should be nice for watching the sun rise. The W Resort ships loads of visitors in via speedboat, to their pool, restaurant or whatever, as you can see at the end of the video. So you don’t have to stay in the resort to visit it. Still the beach was surprisingly empty.
