Walk around Holiday Inn Resort at Mai Khao Beach, Phuket, Thailand. Quality resort at the long and relaxing Mai Khao beach. Would recommend this resort for families and couples. Lots of activities for kids. One big pool near the beach. Some buildings have rooms on the bottom with access to those pools. We stayed in a deluxe room without pool access which was ok anyway. Two restaurants and a coffee shop inside the resort, not so many options outside, but the small thai-restaurant at the corner, near the minimart was nice. Staff was friendly and did a great job. The resort is close to the airport, so a great place to start or end a holiday in Phuket. Not too close though, no airplane noice. Far from nearest 7-eleven. Free bicycles are available in the daytime if you are not renting car or bikes.
