Tour of The Sunset Beach Resort & Spa at Taling Ngam Beach, Koh Samui. Surprisingly nice little resort with great food, sunset and value.
Pros
This resort was a nice surprise. Staff was very welcoming and we received a free upgrade to a “Sunset Jacuzzi Seaview Deluxe” room on check-in. The room was good, clean and had a pleasant sea- / garden-view. The garden was very pretty and well maintained, and the pool looked cool with the yellow and green tile. The food was better than in your average resort – I enjoyed the in-room dining, home made pasta at the restaurant in the evening, and a fresh breakfast buffet in the morning. Taling Ngam Beach was very calm and relaxing. The sunset was definitely visual. There was no disturbing night life like you get in some areas. Overall this place was a very good value for the Baht. I would recommend this resort to romantic couples or families looking to get away from the busy areas of Samui island.
Cons
The small, dated safetybox that don’t fit laptops was the only thing to wine about really.
