Morning stroll at Haad Rin Nok Beach (also called Sunrise Beach, Hat Rin Nok, Rin Beach or Full Moon Party Beach), Koh Phangan, Thailand. Walking from the south up to watch the view from the Mellow Mountain shroom shake bar (while closed). This beach is known for its monthly Full Moon Party. I’ve successfully avoided the Full Moon Parties for over a decade but thought it was time to visit this beach, in between the parties that is. And it was really nice, at least the northern part with the pretty palm trees, and at least in the morning before the crowds wake up. Nice big waves this morning. Surprisingly few people while surprisingly many ignored the no swimming flag.
