Nice basic resort at Thong Tanote Beach, Koh Samui, Thailand.
Pros
Good staff as usual when I stay at Centara Resorts. This resort has spa, fitness room, restaurant and pool bar, two swimming pools and a pool table. The villa was clean and in good condition. The main pool isn’t that big but theres also rooms with direct access to a very long pool available. Location is pretty much as far south as you can get from the airport and the usual Samui hotspots. The lack of nearby activities what made it calm and relaxing I think. It was pretty much silent at night with barely any disturbing music or traffic. Nothing spectacular but a good basic resort with a calm beach view facing other islands and the mainland.
Cons
Like I said it’s far from the Airport and hotspots like Chaweng, Bophut, Lamai etc, so if you plan to visit to those places regularly this might not be the ideal choice. While the beach was pretty it had a massive amount of washed up plastic waste. In front of the resort it was cleaned but further south it was a sad sight.
